Padraic Fallon - Chairman
Padraic Fallon has been Chairman of Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC since 1992. He holds an honours degree in Business Studies (BBS) and an MA from Trinity College Dublin. He was appointed Editor of Euromoney in 1974 and steered it to become the leading journal of international finance, winning the Wincott Special Award for outstanding financial journalism in 1981. He was appointed Managing Director of the Company in 1986 shortly before Euromoney Publications became a public listed company, and subsequently became Chief Executive. He is also an executive director of Daily Mail and General Trust plc and a member of the board of the Trinity College Dublin Foundation. He was born in Wexford, Ireland in 1946, and is an Irish Citizen.
Lisa Traeger - Publisher
Lisa Traeger graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She worked at consumer publications entitled City Nightlife and Leigh Publications' Today's Chicago Woman as an advertising sales executive in Chicago. Lisa moved to Germany and completed an internship at Forbes Magazine which was published by Burda Verlag in Munich. She then took a position as an international sales executive at Ziff-Davis Verlag in Munich, subsidiary of Ziff-Davis in the US. After staying almost six years in Germany, she moved to London and started at Corporate Finance as the Advertising Manager and moved on to Associate Publisher. In May 1999 she was promoted to Publisher of Corporate Finance. In October 1999, Lisa took over as Business Group Manager of EuroWeek, Structured Finance International and Corporate Finance. Almost exactly three years later, Lisa joined the flagship Institutional Investor as International Publisher. After working for 3 years as Publisher in London on Institutional Investor, she moved to back to the US with II where she is now working a dual role as Industry Director, Corporate & Technology as well as Director of Latin America. She was one of the first on the Management Development Programme. She is an American citizen with a British passport.
Paul Hunt - Senior Finance Manager
Paul Hunt graduated in 1993 from Bristol University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Economics & Accounting. He joined Arthur Andersen as a Trainee Chartered Accountant in September 1994 and qualified as an ACA in September 1997. In November 1997 he joined Euromoney as Project Accountant for several publishing businesses. In February 2000 Paul accepted an overseas secondment to the US working closely with the publisher of Institutional Investor. Paul has now returned to London as Senior Finance Manager and his present role is three-fold; (i) manage relationships with content aggregators (ii) work on business acquisitions, disposal proposals & due diligence; (iii) perform ad-hoc projects for senior management.
